Black tea chocolate truffles recipe

Homemade chocolates are something very special. The preparation is usually a little more time-consuming, so you appreciate the result in a completely different way. Even without professional equipment, there are a variety of chocolates that you can make wonderfully at home. This also applies to black tea chocolate truffles with a great flavour.

Black tea chocolate truffles recipe

List of ingredients

150g dark chocolate
(min. 70% cocoa)
100 ml cream
2 tsp black tea
20g butter
1 tsp honey
Cocoa powder for rolling

Preparation

Firstly, finely chop the chocolate and place in a bowl. Then heat the cream in a small pan, add the black tea and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes. Then pour through a sieve and add the (still hot!) black tea cream, butter and honey to the chocolate. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Leave the truffle mixture to set in the fridge for 2 hours. Then scoop out small portions with a teaspoon, shape into a ball between your hands and roll in cocoa powder.
